New Superb EstateCall Howard or Darren to book a Test Drive Today.![]() Luggage compartment lighting
A handy LED light positioned on the inside of the boot, lights the large luggage area when the tailgate is opened. The light can also be removed and used as a torch. It has a magnetic back so that it can be attached in any position on the car in case you ever need to light a specific area in the dark.
The Superb Estate features a very functional partition and tether system (standard on SE and Elegance). Two aluminium plates run the length of the boot and have an extendable bar to keep large items in place with a tether system to keep smaller items stowed to one side. Both the bar and tether system are removable. Electrically controlled fifth door When you have finished loading, press the button on the inside of the tailgate and the boot will close. This system has a clever feature for when you may park somewhere with a low ceiling – the height of the boot opening can be pre-set so you don’t have to worry about any unwanted scrapes and dents. SUNDAY TELEGRAPH Lifestyle Motoring Review by Neil Lyndon (9th January, 2011) My Favourite cars of the past year
An MPV will always be topped in my mind by a good estate car and Skoda's Superb was one of the best cars of the past 10 years. Loads of space for passengers and luggage combined with the best build quality and finish we have seen so far from the factory. The Skoda Estate may not be as cheap as the startling thriftiness we have come to expect from Skoda, but only its mundane badge would stop it being rated as highly as BMWs and Audis in the minds of impressionable punters. Note: The Skoda Superb Estate was also Top Gear's luxury car of the year in 2009. In 2010 it was also Auto Express's ' BEST ESTATE CAR 2010?' Not a bad list of plaudits from the motor industry's experts. |
